Field is a product operated by TK Growth LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect information when you use Field at fieldevents.co (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described in this policy.
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
- Name, email address, phone number
- Mailing address (where required for event registration)
- Date of birth or age (where collected by event organizers)
- Emergency contact information
- Custom registration form responses (varies by event)
- Signed waivers and the timestamp of acceptance
- Payment information — note: we do not store card numbers or banking details. All payment data is processed and stored by Stripe, Inc. We receive only transaction confirmations and payout information.
Information collected automatically:
- IP address and approximate location
- Browser type and version
- Device type and operating system
- Pages visited and actions taken within the Service
- Authentication session data
Information from third parties:
- If you sign in using a third-party authentication provider (Google, etc.), we receive your name and email address from that provider
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Process event registrations and issue tickets
- Facilitate payment processing and payouts to event organizers
- Send registration confirmations, event reminders, and post-event communications
- Enable event organizers to manage participant data for their events
- Provide check-in functionality at events
- Maintain your participant history across events you have registered for
- Respond to support requests
- Improve and maintain the Service
- Comply with legal obligations
- Detect and prevent fraud or abuse
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share your information only in the following circumstances:
With event organizers: When you register for an event, the organizer of that event receives your registration information, including all data you submitted on their registration form. Organizers are responsible for their own use of participant data.
With service providers: We share data with third-party vendors who help us operate the Service:
- Stripe, Inc. — payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy is available at stripe.com/privacy
- Clerk — user authentication and session management. Clerk's privacy policy is available at clerk.com/privacy
- Resend — transactional email delivery
- Supabase — database hosting and file storage
- Vercel — application hosting and infrastructure
For legal reasons: We may disclose your information if required by law, court order, or governmental authority, or if we believe disclosure is necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of Field, our users, or the public.
In a business transfer: If TK Growth LLC is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you via email and/or prominent notice on the Service before your information is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
4. Data Retention
We retain your personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. We retain registration and transaction records for 3 years following the date of the event to comply with financial recordkeeping requirements and applicable statutes of limitations. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time (see Section 7). Deletion requests for transaction records may be subject to legal retention requirements.
5. Cookies and Tracking
We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to maintain your session, remember your preferences, and understand how the Service is used. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect certain functionality of the Service.
6. Children and Minors
The Service may be used by individuals under the age of 18 where permitted by event organizers (for example, youth sports team registrations). If you are registering a minor, you represent that you are the parent or legal guardian of that minor and that you consent to the minor's use of the Service and to the collection and use of their information as described in this Privacy Policy. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without verifiable parental consent. 7. Your Rights and Choices
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate or incomplete information
- Delete your personal information, subject to legal retention requirements
- Export your data in a portable format
- Opt out of marketing emails at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email we send

California residents: You have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information is collected and the right to opt out of the sale of personal information. We do not sell personal information.
Colorado residents: You have rights under the Colorado Privacy Act (CPA), including the right to access, correct, delete, and obtain a copy of your personal data, and to opt out of certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact hello@fieldevents.co.
8. Data Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest, and access controls. We use Clerk for authentication, which provides multi-factor authentication and secure session management. Payment data is handled exclusively by Stripe and is subject to PCI DSS compliance. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. In the event of a data breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you as required by applicable law.
9. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by posting a notice on the Service. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy. The “Last Updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
